I am passionate about providing a space for minorities to safely express themselves and share their experiences. Whether it is trauma, women’s issues, or depression and anxiety, I want to make sure our work together accounts for and validates how being a person of color can influence and inform our experiences. The goal is to provide an environment where you can be yourself.

Trauma

We will work together to process past trauma, understand how and why it affects you, and gain skills to improve regulation. Our goal is to learn to believe you are more than the negative things that have happened to you.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and am trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy.

Women’s Issues

Very often it can be hard to verbalize to others the things we struggle with as women. We should be happy to be moms and wives, right?

Two things can be true at once: we love the people in our lives, but we also struggle with these roles and expectations. Or maybe, we are just genuinely unhappy with this stage.

That’s normal. And it’s okay. Let’s talk about those thoughts and feelings, and your need to feel like yourself again. As you. Who you were, who you are, and who you want to be.

Depression and Anxiety
